See Katie Run

I ran the Cleveland Rite Aid Marathon in June. It was my first one and I was very excited to compete in it (as you can see in the pictures). I trained for 4 months through Cleveland's frigid winter and rainy (and snowy) spring. I earned that obnoxiously large smile.

Towpath Trail

The coolest hiking trail in Cleveland must be the Towpath Trail. The Towpath Trail is a dirt path that borders the Erie Canal stretching from Akron to Cleveland. It was built 175 years ago so animals could pull boats up and down stream. The canal is set up with a lock system so boats can travel from Lake Erie to the Gulf of Mexico (via Ohio and Mississippi Rivers). This trail is a part of Ohio's only national park too. We did not take very many pictures due to a thunderstorm that rolled in, so we will return for more soon!

Aaron's Surprise Birthday Celebration

Our good friend Aaron turned 25. We had a surprise feast and party for him. Xixi and Brad are our expert chefs so they prepared the meal. Chris and I cleaned, decorated, and shopped for some yummy wines. Chanary was the mastermind of the operation, brought the cake, and party necessities. It was great to get our fill on an amazing dinner, and be surrounded by even more amazing friends.
